The Goat Grasses are a group of over 20 wild annual grasses found in areas with a Mediterranean climate from Spain to China.

The Goat Grass that hybridised with Wild Einkorn and introduced the 'B' genome 30,000 or more years ago has not been positively identified, and may now be extinct. However, it is believed to have been similar to the one shown.
